Apple Pockets US$83 Billion in Revenue in the Third Quarter of 2022

Apple Inc. managed to pocket revenues of US $ 83 billion until the third quarter of 2022. This achievement increased by 2% compared to the third quarter of last year which amounted to US$ 81.4 billion.

It was noted that most of Apple’s revenue during this period came from iPhones. The value reached US$40.66 billion or 49.01% of the company’s total revenue.

Next, services such as Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, iCloud+, Apple News+, to Apple Fitness+ are the second largest contributor to Apple’s revenue. The value of revenue in this sector is US $ 19.60 billion or about 23.63% of the total revenue of the company made by Steve Jobs.

Then, Apple’s device and accessories revenue was valued at US$8.08 billion or 9.74% of the company’s total revenue.

Meanwhile, Mac’s revenue was recorded at US$7.38 billion, equivalent to 8.89% of total sales, and iPad’s net sales of US$7.22 billion or 8.70% of the company’s total net sales.

By region, Apple’s largest net sales in the third quarter of 2022 came from the Americas, which was US$37.47 billion or 45.16% of the company’s total net sales. Followed by Europe 23.24%, China 17.60%, Japan 6.56%, and the rest of the Asia Pacific region 7.41%.

In a trend, the revenue that Apple has managed to pocket in the last five years tends to increase. The highest revenue was in the third quarter of 2022, while the lowest was in the third quarter of 2018.
