banner 728x90 – The OnePlus 10R is the latest entrant in OnePlus’ mid-range R series. Known as the OnePlus Ace in China, the 10R is basically the Realme GT Neo 3 but with a few tweaks.

The OnePlus 10R is based on the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 platform. It features a large 120Hz display and a triple camera system on the back. The phone was also launched in two variants, one with a 5000mAh battery and an 80W charger and the other with a 4500mAh battery and a 150W charger.

The OnePlus 10R has a square and square design. The sides are flat on all sides, and the front and back meet at right angles, creating a plate-like profile.

The back of the phone has a large camera bulge with three lenses. The camera bump has a striped pattern, which then continues to the back of the phone.

The side of the phone displays the power button on the right and the volume buttons on the left. The buttons are also pretty flush with the surface and aren’t particularly easy or satisfying to use.

The 10R is the first mainstream OnePlus phone since the OnePlus 2 not to feature the company’s signature three-position alert slider, making it all the more clear that it didn’t start life as a OnePlus product.

The back and sides of the phone are made of plastic, although the fit and finish is pretty good. On the front is Corning Gorilla Glass 5 with flat edges and a cutout for the camera in the top center.

The OnePlus 10R comes in two colors, Forest Green and Sierra Black. Both colors are available for the standard model with an 80W charger, but the Endurance edition with a 160W charger is only available in black.

The OnePlus 10R has a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2412×1080. This panel features a 120Hz dynamic refresh rate and 10-bit color. The touchscreen natively polls at 360Hz, but that number can be increased to 720Hz in software while gaming.

The display lets you adjust the color from the display settings. You can choose from Vivid, Natural, or Pro modes. From our previous testing, we know Vivid is DCI-P3 compliant, Natural is sRGB, and Pro mode lets you manually choose between Cinematic, which is Display P3, and Brilliant, which sets the display to its widest native gamut. You can also manually adjust the white balance for any of the presets.

The OnePlus 10R has two versions in India. The standard version features a 5000mAh battery with an 80W SuperVOOC charger. The Endurance Edition ships with a 4500mAh battery and a 160W SuperVOOC charger.

Although the Endurance edition ships with a 160W charger, the phone itself supports up to 150W charging. As for why it has a smaller 4500mAh battery, OnePlus says it’s purely for security reasons. Their testing reveals that the 4500mAh is a great point for the performance and safety features they’ve implemented.

The unit we have is a 150W model, We have tested the results of the charging speed from 1-30% in 3 minutes and 17 minutes with a full charge. it’s pretty fast at the moment.

The OnePlus 10R has a stereo speaker system. Speakers can get very loud but don’t sound very good. They’re a bit tinny, and the sound is dense at higher frequencies, making them sound indistinct compared to the OnePlus 10 Pro. Sound is also biased towards the lower speakers, which sound much louder.

The OnePlus 10R here doesn’t have Dolby Atmos audio processing. Instead, it has Dirac audio, which is usually found on Nord phones. For simple sound virtualization, Dirac does the job, but you don’t get the sound quality of Dolby Atmos.

The OnePlus 10R uses OxygenOS 12.1 on top of Android 12. OxygenOS 12.1 is basically ColorOS 12 with a few tweaks. A look at past surface-level design changes reveals an OS identical to that found on OnePlus and Realme phones.

The OnePlus 10R uses the MediaTek Dimensity 8100-MAX processor, which is OnePlus’ exclusive variant of the Dimensity 8100. Despite repeated requests, the company was unable to provide a direct answer as to what makes the MAX version different from the standard Dimensity. 8100. From what we know, the two are identical except in name. In terms of memory, you get a choice of 128GB or 256GB UFS 3.1 storage and 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM.

Conclusion of the OnePlus 10R

The OnePlus 10R is a competent smartphone for the most part. It has an attractive design, great display, good performance and a fantastic fast charging solution.

On the other hand, the camera is disappointing and even inferior to the previous generation model. This makes you have to consider when you want to buy it. for those of you who are less interested in a good camera. OnePlus 10R is the right choice to support light to heavy activities. If you are after a good camera, the OnePlus 10R is less than recommended.
